In July, New York shimmered with the brilliance of music. The 2025 WIRMC Global Finals were successfully held in this world music capital. Outstanding young performers from across the globe gathered to shine on an authoritative stage, under the guidance of a world-class jury.

【Pre-Competition Gathering · Opening Prelude】

On July 11, contestants and guests convened at the Hyatt Hotel Ballroom in Times Square for the WIRMC Welcome Reception, marking the official opening of the Global Finals. In a warm atmosphere, young musicians bonded and built anticipation, gathering courage and strength for the stage ahead.

【July 12 · Piano Global Finals】

The Piano Finals opened the competition. Contestants demonstrated extraordinary artistry and emotional depth on stage. Beginning that afternoon, a three-day series of piano masterclasses and private lessons commenced, led by the international jury. From technique to interpretation, one-on-one mentorship elevated the artistic journey.

【July 13 · Strings Global Finals & Awards Ceremony】

String finalists expressed passion and power through their bows, filling the stage with brilliance. At midday, the Global Awards Ceremony was held, honoring each performer’s relentless dedication.

That afternoon, the String Masterclasses & Private Lessons also began, offering students personal guidance from world-class mentors.

【July 14 · Carnegie Hall Concert】

At the world’s most prestigious concert hall—Carnegie Hall—global winners performed in a magnificent celebration of music.

Earlier that morning, piano and string masterclasses provided the final polish before each performer stepped onto this legendary stage.

【Artistic Journey · An Inspiration Tour】

From July 15–16, the Art Summer Camp continued. Students visited NYU and three leading music schools: Juilliard, Manhattan School of Music, and Mannes School of Music. They immersed themselves in the vibrant arts scene, explored the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and enjoyed Broadway’s The Lion King. These experiences became treasured gifts for their growth.

【Sharing Beyond the Stage】

Beyond performances and learning, memories were also made around the table: savoring home-style flavors at UP Thai, American hospitality at Dallas BBQ, and breathtaking Manhattan views at The View revolving restaurant. Every laugh and story became a cherished note of this journey.

2025 WIRMC Successfully Concluded · Dreams Continue

We extend heartfelt gratitude to every performer for their passion, to every parent, teacher, and juror for their trust and support, and to the city of New York for its inspiration and courage.

This was not only a showcase on an international stage, but also a defining chapter in the lives of young musicians. The stage never stops, and music remains forever young.
